This package was debianised, prepackaged and is currently maintained
by me, Ulf Jaenicke-Roessler <ujr@debian.org>, from the sources that
I obtained from the SidPlay HomePage at
 http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Lakes/5147/

For information about necessary (small) changes, including remarks about
adding support for the Debian package maintenance scheme (ie. about creating
various debian/* files and additional considerations) see Readme.Debian.
This software was developed with, and uses, QT. Please see file PACKAGING
or below in this file for an supplemental licence exception regarding GPL
and QPL, as well as the QT licence (e.g. LICENSE and README.QT in
/usr/share/doc/qt1g or /usr/share/doc/qt2, resp.) for information.

This is an addition to the licences that are applied to this program
in source and binary form:

  (1) GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE V2 (GPL)
  (2) QT FREE EDITION LICENSE - in conjunction with Qt 1.x only
  (2) THE Q PUBLIC LICENSE (QPL) - in conjunction with Qt >= 2.0 only

The purpose of this addition is in removing possible licence conflicts
packagers, distributors, or other persons, may see in the combination
of two contradictory licences.

You may apply bug fixes, portability fixes, other modifications derived or
directly from contributors or the program's author, and as embodied in (1)
and (2), provided that you do neither violate (1) nor (2) and you do either
one of the following:

  a) make your modifications freely available, or enclose information on
where to obtain them in form of a complete list or patches

  b) make other distribution arrangements with the program's author

You may compile and link this program against Troll Tech's Qt library without
the GPL being applicable to the Qt library.

You may package and distribute the executables you've built of this program.

You may as well forget about this extra licence if you disagree or see the
GPL violated in any particular point. Note, however, that no harm is done as
this program is always available in complete source form, and the program's
most important code is fully independent from the Qt library.
