This is Debian GNU's prepackaged version of xplanet, a program
to render images of the earth.

This package was put together first by James Troup
<james@nocrew.org>, from the sources, which he obtained from
http://www.alumni.caltech.edu/~hari/xplanet/. The changes were
minimal, namely:

- adding support for the Debian package maintenance scheme, by adding
  various debian/* files.
- tkxplanet.in: fix a typo (s/--markerfile/--marker_file) which was
causing the marker files option not to work.
- tkxplanet.1: new manpage.

xplanet is now available at http://xplanet.sourceforge.net/ The debian
package for xplanet is now being maintained by Gopal Narayanan
<gopal@debian.org>.
