Title: Inter-Client Exchange Library
Author: Ralph Mor
Abstract: There are numerous possible protocols that can be used for
communication among clients. They have many similarities and common needs,
including authentication, version negotiation, data typing, and connection
management. The Inter-Client Exchange (ICE) protocol is intended to
provide a framework for building such protocols. A client that wishes to
utilize ICE must first register the protocols it understand with the ICE
library. This document is intended primarily for implementors of protocol
libraries layered on top of ICE.
